Day In The Life sessions are documentary sessions capturing your life and your loved ones just as you are. No staging, no fixing -- just your story as it unfolds. The routines, the chaos, the quiet moments in between. These sessions preserve the truth of this season, exactly as it is, because one day even the ordinary will feel extraordinary. As your photographer, I take a “fly on the wall” approach inside your day to capture all of the intimate ordinary moments that would otherwise be forgotten.

Fill out the contact form and let's chat! Once I gather a little bit more information about what you are looking for and you decide we are a good match, then we can schedule your session. If you are booking for maternity, newborn, or Fresh 48 please reach out in your second trimester to ensure a spot on my calendar (especially between Sept-Dec). To solidify your date in my calendar, a $75 (per session) non-refundable retainer and a signed contract is requested within 24 hours. The remaining session fee is not due until one week before your session date. Payment plans are available if needed.

It’s session day! Yay! Your only job is to show up looking fabulous with your family, relax, and have a great time! Let the kids be kids for precious authentic moments. If they start getting a little wild, don’t fret, please!!! I have super powers when it comes to capturing the beauty when it just feels like chaos. Don’t believe me? Just read my reviews!

Once the session is finished, I will be working behind the scenes culling through your images to pick out the very best for your proofing gallery. Expect to see your proofs within 1-3 days from the session date. A proofing gallery is a mildly edited gallery that has had the exposure, white balance, and cropping adjusted. Once you select which images you want to keep and cherish forever, I will work on them some more to make sure they are absolutely perfect and the best quality for printing. All galleries are delivered via a private online gallery within 1-2 weeks from the date you submitted your selections. You can print your images through my professional print lab right from your gallery. All galleries come with a printing release if you would rather print elsewhere. The choice is yours.

What can I expect during my session?
Candid and “in the moment” is what I am all about. During your session, expect very little posing and a whole lot of loving and playing. I will give guided direction and prompts to allow you to be able to interact with your family in an organic way. I will still get that one “smile at the camera” shot for grandma, but I would rather you ignore me and not look at the camera. Instead, play and love your family. I promise you will not be disappointed with the result.
Where do sessions take place?
Newborn, Maternity, Family, or Milestone sessions can take place in your home, outdoors, or in a local studio (for a rental fee). A Fresh 48 session takes place at the hospital, your birthing center, or your home. All outdoor sessions will receive a location guide to help with picking a location. If you have another location in mind, I would love to hear about it.
When is the best time to book a newborn & maternity session?
Newborn: It is never too early to book, but I recommend booking in your second trimester to ensure a spot on my calendar. For all newborn sessions, I set aside about two weeks around your due date to ensure your session is scheduled with ease once your baby arrives.
Maternity: I recommend between 32-36 weeks of gestation, where you have a nice bump showing, but you aren’t too tired or swollen for your session.
When will I receive my photos?
